Portfolio represents more than 70 scholarly publications that cover a wide range of disciplines from the humanities and the social sciences to the life and physical sciences, including economics and politics. All are peer-reviewed journals of original scholarship and present original research from international scholars.

ProQuest has expanded the content of ProQuest Central with 900 scientific journals and 400 newspapers. The databases structure and some of their names have been changed. New databases Arts & Humanities Database, Library Science Database, Linguistics Database a Public Health Database have been added to ProQuest Central.
